Diablo 3 Leveling Tips
5 quick Diablo 3 Leveling Tips suitable for all Barbarians, Demon Hunters, Monks, Witch Doctors and Wizards to maximize your efficiency at leveling.
More Mobs, More Exp
Going on a rampage and slaughtering a vast number of foes in short succession, pays rather well in Diablo 3. However, do not go overboard with your AoE skills as they tend to eat up whatever resource your class depends on rather quickly.
Mini Quests
Clear the map and don’t skip the mini quests. They frequently spawn large packs of mobs. You collect experience for completing the quests as well as for whatever Massacre killing spree you can muster. To top it off, the mini quests usually offer both a monetary reward and a few weapons or armor for turning in the quest .
Followers
Early on you are presented with the choice to train your follower in healing or taunting. While healing may be more optimal for a melee class and taunting more ideal for a ranged class, try to find what works best for you or suites the situation best. Personally I prefer the heal as I loathe pets interfering in crowd control. Control is paramount. I prefer a passive heal over a passive crowd control.
Looting
Unless you are set on picking up each and every piece of gold and equipment or gear keep looting at a moderate level. While there are large amounts of boxes, jars, coffins and barrels scattered across the landscape of Sanctuary, going out of your way to break and loot each and every one, will slow down the rate at which you progress considerably.
Shrines and Healing Wells
Throughout Sanctuary you will find a quite a few shrines and healing wells offering various blessings or heals. Be on the lockout for shrines as their buff to attack, armor or experience gained can boost your leveling significantly.
