Diablo 3 class builds and guides Barbarian Builds & Specs, Demon Hunter Builds & Specs, Monk Builds & Specs, Witch Doctor Builds & Specs and Wizard Builds & Specs have been revised to observe the latest Diablo 3 beta changes and updates.
Diablo 3 Beta comes to a close
April 17 – Blizzard today announced the imminent end to Diablo 3 Beta. The Diablo 3 Beta will come to a close on Tuesday, May 1st. Our Diablo 3 class builds will not be updated until after the release of Diablo 3 on May 15th.
Diablo 3 April Fools
April 2 – With Mists of Pandaria knocking on the door, Blizzard was hard pressed to come up with a plausible April fool’s joke. Epic phail, Blizz Joke Squad.
Diablo 3 Release May 15
March 15 – Blizzard today announced the official release date for Diablo 3. Diablo 3 will be available from May 15th. Check out the Diablo 3 Release post for details.
Diablo 3 PVP – PVP Patch and PVP Arena System
March 9 – In another post on the official Diablo 3 battle.net site, Jay Wilson today outlined some changes to Diablo PVP. The Arena PVP system will be held back and launched with a patch succeeding the launch of Diablo 3. Jay did not mention how long we will have to wait for the release of the PVP patch after the official launch of Diablo 3.
Diablo 3 Skill and Rune changes
February 18 – Jay Wilson today announced changes to Skills and Runes. The changes will be implemented in patch 13. Skills are divided into Primary Attack, Secondary Attack, Defensive and two more class-specific categories. Generally, Primary Attacks will generate resources or be free, while Secondary Attacks will be stronger and spend resources. Defensive skills can both generate and spend resources.
More to come as patch 13 makes it onto live beta servers.
